"King Of The Road" with Joel King is a new television series in development at Cobblestone Studios. The show follows our star, Joel King, around the world on his motorcycle. Along the way Joel meets lots of great people and visits many breath taking sites. In the pilot episode Joel rides north through California to the magnificent redwood forests of Northern California. Along the way Joel travels the Pacific Coast Highway and tours the majestic, rugged coastline of central California. On the way home Joel stops in to visit some old friends in the Napa Valley.

Also, in the first episode Joel spends time with Steve Anderson at the Grandfather tree. Steve has been carving ornamental redwood sculptures with a chain saw for 17 years. He tells Joel a few interesting stories about how he came to be a carver in the redwoods and gives Joel a great demonstration of his skills. Joel also visits with Michael Shearer at Spirit Glass in "The Avenue Of The Giants." Michael tours Joel through the gallery and the kiln explaining the process of batching and blowing glass, a truly beautiful exhibit.

Joel gives valuable rider safety tips and explains a little about man's interaction in nature and how best we can help preserve what we have. So keep checking back here for updates about the show. We are hopeful you will see the show in full production next year.
